Introducing new Directors to The Lind 2022.

All systems go! The Lind are in full swing preparing for our first season of 2022. After a bumper Year in 2021, we are keen to replicate our full year again. The Lind and our patrons have much to look forward to, adding some surprise moments of entertainment.

To keep the variety anew, we invite you to come along and meet three new Directors to the Lind, with our 3 One Act Play season called LIFE AND DEATH-from quirky to drama and somewhere in between.

What a mix!

Birdbath by Leonard Melfi directed by Candido Minniti
An unsuccessful poet meets a girl while they are both working at a cafe. He convinces her to come to his place and entices her to drink a little. While trying to seduce her in the mildest manner possible, she resists in the most devastating way imaginable, turning the evening into a nightmare for both. It is a boy meets girl love story unlike any other- drama.

Ali by Daniel Keene directed by Lua Bruckhoff
Ali, a young refugee goes missing at his school after his visa is rejected. Three teachers wait to be questioned by police. Will Ali be deported? Did the teachers help him escape? -A purposeful and contemplative drama.

Time Out by Judith Boyd directed by Britt Love
Donna, a petty thief finds her life turning upside down, when she goes to do her community service. Why is she allowed inside the house? Where is Mrs B? Why is Mr B acting so strangely? All will be revealed in this black comedy.

LIFE AND DEATH will run from March 3-5 in the evenings at 7.30pm, with a matinee planned on the 3rd.

Bookings on the Lind Lane Theatre website.
